Find your way around: Home, Problems and the menu
Where things are, what the numbers on Home mean, and how to find any problem.
FixLoop has four main pages: Home, Problems, Team and Settings. On a computer they are in the menu on the left, under + Report a problem. On a phone they are in the bar at the bottom, with the + button in the middle to report a problem.
Home
- The numbers at the top: Open, Due this week, Fixed, waiting for verification, Fixed this month and Came back. Tap a number to see those problems.
- Waiting on you: the problems where you are next, with a button for the step, like Root cause, Do the fix, Verify or Sign off. Overdue fixes say so.
- Open problems: the most serious first.
- Coming back: problems that came back after a fix, with a link to look again.
In a new workspace, Home shows a short list to get you started instead, ending with Report your first problem.
Problems
- Use the tabs to see where each problem is: Open, Root cause, Fixing, Verifying, Closed or All. Verifying also holds problems that are ready to sign off. Archived shows once something is archived.
- Open problems come first, the most serious at the top.
- Type in Search to look in titles, what happened and places. Pick a place under Where, or a level under How serious, then press Filter.
- On a computer, each row shows the next date: when the fix is due, when to verify, or that it is ready to sign off.
- Press Export to download a spreadsheet of every problem. The owner also sees Download everything, a zip with the spreadsheet and every photo and file.
A problem's page
Open any problem to see its steps in order, with the next one highlighted. The Activity list shows each step, who did it and when. Press PDF for a printable report.
Bars at the top of the screen
Sometimes a bar at the top tells you something important:
- Your free trial or plan has ended. You can still look and export.
- Your last card payment didn't go through (owners only).
- FixLoop support asks to look at your workspace (owners only). Press Review.
- This workspace is paused. Everything is safe and you can look and export, but nothing can be changed. Please contact us.
- A short note from FixLoop. Press × to close it.
On more than one team
You can belong to more than one workspace with the same email, for example two businesses. On a computer, press Switch next to the workspace name at the top of the menu. On a phone, open Your profile. Under Your workspaces, press Open next to the one you want.
Owners on a free trial also see how many days are left: in the menu on a computer, or at the top of the screen on a phone. In the last 7 days, Home shows a note too.
Press your name at the bottom of the menu, or your initials at the top right, to open Your profile. Sign out is at the top of Your profile, and on a computer also under your name in the menu.
