Effectiveness verification: check the fix held

Some time after the fix, answer one question: did the problem come back?

A fix only counts once it has held. After the fix is done, FixLoop waits before asking. The wait is 14 days unless the owner picks another time in Settings: 7, 30, 60 or 90 days.

On the day, the people who can sign off get an email. The problem also shows under Waiting on you on their Home page.

  1. Open the problem and go to Effectiveness verification.
  2. Pick It stayed fixed or It came back.
  3. Under How do you know?, write one line, like "Checked three weeks of logs, no repeats."
  4. Save. If you can sign off, saving "It stayed fixed" also signs it off and closes it. If not, it waits for the owner to sign off.

Answering early

Before the date, press Answer early. To say it stayed fixed early, you must say how you know. Waiting is better: it gives the fix time to prove itself.

If it happened even once since the fix, pick "It came back". That is useful, not a failure.
